As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data in the systems to enable reporting according to regulations and company requirements.

You will report to the Finance Manager and be based at our Cincinnati site, working in a hybrid model (4 days at the office, 1 day remote).

Responsibilities:

Process Automation and efficiency



  • Leverage BI reporting, excel functionalities, to help create automated reports to facilitate accounting and reporting activities.
  • Analyze and help improve processes related to accounting and reporting, insurance, fixed assets, functions and implement solutions.
  • Build knowledge and help streamline the processes of acquired companies and serve as a backup where needed.



General Accounting



  • Take on tasks related to monthly closing for a more efficient closing.
  • Fulfill reporting requests from the government.
  • Prepare draft reports for fiscal reporting (statutory accounts and Corporation tax computation) for review by the Financial Manager/Controller and external audit. This includes all periodic tax reporting.
  • Review balance sheet accounts reconciliation and solve issues.
  • Be a contact for External & Internal Audit.



Coordination with functions in the region



  • Be the contact for GBS teams for better liaison with site users.
  • Serve as a local knowledge resource to help resolve issues related to AR, AP, GL Entries and Credit Management.



Internal controls over financial accounting and reporting (ICON)



  • Perform ICON controls under the responsibility of Finance department.
  • Ensure ICON controls are in place with multiple departments.

Your professional profile requires:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Administration.
  • 4+ years of similar experience.
  • Fluent English
  • Experience working with SAP and Excel.
  • Analytical skills
