YOUR ROLE

The Cost Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the cost accounting activities for the ECG North America trial balances. This includes analyzing results, preparing reports, supporting audits, and liaison to other functional staffs.

In your daily job you will:

• Maintain current SOX key controls reporting
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations
• Monitor inventory including physical counts, valuation, and reconciliation
• Analyze and report Global ECG Excess and Obsolete Inventory
• Prepare and present cost reports
• Support internal and external audits
• Support and Train staff
• Assist in budgeting cost activities

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

• 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Relevant experience with SAP and HFM financial systems
• Demonstrates high level of leadership ability, including the ability to work with diverse groups
• Ability to analyze information and decide course of action, strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel within North America as needed
