Description The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage Family Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at the Specialty Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic (SPOC). This role involves providing outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients in a collaborative clinical setting. Primary duties include:
  • Provide clinical evaluations, assessing suitability for outpatient therapeutic care, and need for additional mental health services
  • Formulate treatment plans based on assessment
  • Provide individual, couple, and/or group psychotherapy for patients
  • Document and enter patient information into. medical records
  • Evaluate and refer patients for additional or alternative modes of care, such as inpatient, partial, psychiatry, specialized groups, etc.
  • Other clinical duties as assigned
Salary range: $64,800/yr - $101,200/yr
Qualifications Master's degree in MFT
Valid California MFT License
Clinical experience with diverse populations and complex mental health conditions (ex. Mood, anxiety, thought, personality, trauma-related, and substance use disorders)
Experience serving geriatric patients
Skills in comprehensive clinical assessments
Proficient in evidence-based treatment planning and documentation
Strong communication skills, especially in behavioral specific treatment planning
Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
