Mechanic

• Full range of services including, but not limited to, diagnostic, overhaul, adjustment, and repair to all company vehicles, and equipment
• Keep all company vehicles and equipment in good running conditions, including gas, diesel, and electrical engines
• Determine necessary corrective action; perform diagnostic tests using engine analyzers; fabricate or modify equipment within approved budget
• Complete metal fabrication and repairs as needed
• Review routine vehicle preventative maintenance schedules and monthly vehicle inspection checklists
• The mechanic must also respond to the needs of the drillers so that the drilling operations continue without interruption including delivery of parts, supplies, etc.
• Make decisions regarding the priority of maintenance with the Drilling Operations Supervisor
• Respond quickly to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service
• Acts as lead worker to other staff in the area' and performs other related work tasks as required
• Keeps supervisor informed of all new situations/progress
• Accepts responsibility for own work and behavior
• Adhere to all company safety guidelines
• Attend monthly safety meetings

• High School diploma or GED

• 5+ years of experience

• Position requires carrying 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height
