Overview

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:

MBP is seeking an experienced professional in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project, program, or construction management, particularly with significant federal government programs. We are looking for someone with proven skills in strategic planning and implementation, as well as in building and maintaining client relationships. A solid track record of creating long-term value for organizations is essential.



Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES

    Serve as a leader in MBP's Service Strategy and Delivery team to coordinate and align business development and operational goals in the federal market.
  • Drive revenue growth in the federal market in collaboration with business development and service line leaders.
  • Assist with developing business plan targets and developing and leading strategic pursuits, in collaboration with the business development, marketing, and operational teams, to achieve targets.
  • Coordinate BD activities, capture planning, and the proposal development process
  • Develop strategies to identify potential clients, build relationships, and identify specific opportunities.
  • Serves as the firm's representative for existing key clients and target client audiences.
  • Leads efforts in formulating strategies, assembling teams, and developing proposals.
  • Assists in the planning, management, and execution of awarded contracts to ensure the quality of the support provided and client satisfaction.
  • Applies best-practice business development and operational processes.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  • Participate in professional association organizations and activities.
  • Assist in writing or editing proposals.
  • May include regular travel throughout the United States.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:

Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or another related field. Significant work-related experience performing similar duties to those outlined below. Extensive experience in planning and executing projects and programs, and familiarity with areas such as developing capture strategies for upcoming project opportunities. Possess a thorough knowledge of the AEC industry, including technical services and client procurement procedures.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to develop strategic approaches to winning and executing work, integrating operational and business development strategies, and developing strong relationships with current and potential clients. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Strong writing and presentation skills.
