Brief Summary of Work for this Position |
The Facilities Administration Department provides administrative support to the Facilities Organization, under the direction of the Associate Vice Chancellor of Business Affairs - Facilities.
The Facilities Store is a unit within the Facilities Administration Department that supplies basic goods and materials necessary for carrying out work-related tasks.
The Temp Facilities Store Support Associate is responsible for reviewing inventory levels, assessing stock needs, and procuring items in a warehouse environment. Duties include:
- Ensuring a high level of customer service, in person, online and by phone when responding to customer inquires, research and problem resolution. Follow up in a timely, professional manner.
- Programs utilized relating to material procurement include uShop and AiM.
- Performing periodic and annual physical inventory.
- Participating in training when applicable.
- Picking up and delivery of goods for maintenance and operational needs when required.
- Ability to use a pallet jack and forklift preferred.
- Other duties as assigned.
This position has been designated as mandatory personnel for the University and may be required to report to work during adverse weather conditions even though the University may be operating on an alternate schedule. This position may assist with snow, ice and/or debris removal under the direction of a supervisor. |

- Prefer comparable materials and procurement experience.
