In this role, you'll be the architect of engineering productivity, directly influencing the speed and stability of Trimble's global software delivery. Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Lead and Mentor: Inspire a dynamic team of software and DevOps engineers, coaching both internal talent and outsourcing partners to reach peak performance.

  • Drive Reliability: Own global KPIs for service stability and performance, championing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) as a core discipline driven by automation.

  • Innovate Tooling: Spearhead the creation and deployment of automated solutions that significantly enhance productivity for over 11,000 internal users.

  • Collaborate Globally: Act as a crucial bridge between E-Tools and other engineering departments to ensure seamless integration and technical excellence.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven Leadership: 8+ years in cloud/SaaS environments with at least 2 years of experience successfully managing engineering teams.

  • Technical Foundations: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field with a deep understanding of lean and agile methodologies.

  • Strategic Communication: Excellent negotiation and mentoring skills with the ability to analyze complex data into actionable insights.

Bonus Points For:

  • Cloud proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Hands-on scripting experience in Python, TypeScript, or Go.

    Familiarity with AI-driven tools like GitHub Copilot or Datadog AI to automate anomalies and tasks.

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
