The team focuses on providing flexible primary financing solutions across the entire capital structure backed by Macquarie's balance sheet, with sector focuses on software, tech-enabled services, insurance brokerage, industrials, and infrastructure. The team's flexible mandate allows bespoke solutions for complex transactions, as well as addressing current and future capital needs of a company.

What role will you play?

Responsible for evaluation and execution of potential investment opportunities across various industries and sectors, including industrials. Specific duties involve evaluating risk/return for each investment to prove or disprove a potential investment thesis, performing detailed quality assessment of business across differentiated data sources and assessing risks, such as commodity, foreign exchange, cyclicality, and regulatory risks as well as threat of new entrants; compiling investment committee memos/presentations, creating financial models, and otherwise contributing to transaction analysis; leading diligence conversations and efforts with counterparties and experts; participating in drafting term sheets and legal documentation, including credit agreements; managing existing portfolio investments, including quarterly reporting of financial statements and monitoring core KPIs; and generating deal flow directly from third-party relationships.
Salary range for this position: $175,000 to $225,000/Year.
Within this salary range the base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. What you offer

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field (Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Law) and 3 years of experience in job offered or 3 years of experience evaluating and executing potential investment opportunities across various industries and sectors, including industrials
  • Prior experience must include 3 years evaluating risk/return of potential investment opportunities, including assessing commodity, foreign exchange, cyclicality, and regulatory risks
  • 3 years performing detailed economic, financial, and valuation analysis and modeling, including reviewing, building, and revising financial projection models, building base, downside, and upside financial cases based on review of business and operational models, spreading and reviewing relative valuation metrics, and modeling cash flows and debt paydown metrics
  • 3 years managing live transaction execution
  • 3 years working with principal finance specific technologies, including CapIQ, FactSet, Salesforce, MergerMarket, and Bloomberg.
