The successful applicant will be involved with all aspects of the federal, international, and state tax functions including tax return preparation, tax accounting, audit support, and tax planning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of separate company proforma federal tax returns.

  • Preparation of state income tax returns.

  • Responsible for ensuring all tax return workpapers are prepared to support income tax audits.

  • Reconciliation of various tax balance sheet accounts.

  • Assist in preparation of the tax provision and footnotes including all workpapers to support the financial statements.

Requirements:

To qualify, candidate must have:

  • a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting or finance (an advanced degree in tax is highly desirable)

  • a minimum 1-3 years of relevant tax experience or equivalent experience in business or industry

  • CPA certification (or working toward certification)

  • broad exposure to federal and state income taxation

  • excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills

  • desire to learn and develop, act proactively, and respond with a sense of urgency

  • ability to work in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • exposure to Onesource tax compliance (OIT) and provision products (OTP) a plus.

  • understanding of accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) would be a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$82,200-$118,200

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
