Position: Dispatch Clerk Location: South San Francisco, Ca Department: Transportation Reports To: Transportation Supervisor / Manager Job Responsibilities: Assisting with line-up of assignments, being able to assign and make changes to driver, driver helper and coordinator assignments when needed Accurately complete and submit operational paperwork regarding ramp safety check observation sheets / audits, boarding bills etc Coordinate flights to ensure they are accurate for correct crew meals Communicate and implement changes in the operation as it relates to Airline and Equipment swaps. Assist with coverage when needed, (sick call coverage, OT coverage etc) Communicating with security team if needed Answering calls from customers and airport, relaying the info to the appropriate dept managers Assist with minor deliveries to plane side, (missing items, short items, lounge food etc) when instructed or needed Assist with tags, printing, creating etc Assist with other assignments delegated by Transportation Manager and Safety Manager Job Qualifications: H.S. Diploma or equivalent Class C non-CDL license Ability to speak/write fluent English required Excellent driving record Positive attitude, leadership skills, strong, ability to work independently but in a team environment as well Communication skills, some computer work, word, excel Working knowledge of HACCP concepts, cleaning and sanitizing processes Minimum 3 years of experience in the food industry
