Role Purpose & Structure:
This new positions was created to address growth-related project backlogs. These are spread across East, Central, and West regions of the U.S. This hybrid role includes regional responsibilities and regular travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project/program plans for small to medium construction projects, including facility renovations and equipment upgrades (flooring, painting, lighting, mechanical/electrical systems).
- Guide project/program management activities, including schedules, budgets, risk management, changes, and resource allocation.
- Build and manage vendor relationships.
- Communicate technical information to cross-functional team members and leadership.
- Prepare documentation to meet internal, government, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and at high workmanship standards.
Must-Have Skills:
- 3-5 years of project management experience (construction background strongly preferred).
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Strong computer/software skills (MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD preferred).
- Experience with Agile PLM (Oracle-based) document management software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and influence cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of successful project management experience.
- Minimum 3 years managing construction projects.
