Job Title:Financial Analyst Job Description:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of executive compensation packages, including base salary, bonuses, equity awards, and other incentives.

  • Complete peer reviews, including preparation and analysis of peer performance scans.

  • Conduct analysis to support decisioning on large scale projects including real estate and/or leasing transactions, technology contract renewals and RFP, and project investments.

  • Analyze data to identify trends and make strategic recommendations utilizing a variety of data sources, including the HRIS.

  • Prepare detailed executive compensation reports and analyses for senior leadership and board presentations.

  • May participate in compensation surveys and benchmarking studies.

  • Conduct market research, peer analysis, and benchmarking to support decisions.

  • Assist in preparing materials for the Human Capital & Compensation Committee, including summaries, charts, and recommendations.

  • Monitor regulatory, governance, and market trends related to executive compensation and provide summaries to senior stakeholders.

  • Support preparation of annual proxy disclosure.

  • Assist Project Management Office (PMO) with ROI analysis and lookback analysis on completed projects.

  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements

  • Data analysis and mining skills

  • Strong knowledge of and the ability to interpret various financial metrics and concepts, including net present value, ROI, etc.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, HRIS).

  • Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior leadership.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting or data analysis.

  • Publicly traded company experience preferred.

  • Experience in banking or financial services industry preferred.

Computer and Software Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with an emphasis on Excel for analytics.
