About the role

The Technical Program Manager is accountable for the planning and execution of medium-complexity technical programs that span technical teams and domains. As a TPM, you will work closely with Product Owner, Engineering team and other stakeholders to coordinate the delivery across cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases and reliable production performance, including active involvement in testing, production support, and on-call issues resolution. You will ensure that all non-functional requirements (such as reliability, scalability, security, etc.) are documented, incorporated into plans, tracked, and executed appropriately. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background, excellent program management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams toward common business goals.

What you'll do



  • Serve as a point of contact for production issues, ensuring timely triage and resolution.
  • Collaborate with support and engineering teams to investigate root causes and implement fixes.
  • Participate in functional, regression, and UAT testing to ensure product quality.
  • Support automation initiatives and continuous integration efforts.
  • Manage end-to-end planning and execution of complex, cross-functional technical programs, from initial concept through delivery.
  • Monitor program health, identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Work with teams to clarify goals and deliverables, bring data to planning and prioritization.
  • Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, facilitating alignment and ensuring seamless integration of deliverables.
  • Coordinate post-launch activities, including monitoring adoption, collecting feedback, and driving follow-up actions to enhance outcomes.

Compensation

Salary Range: $113,700 - $189,400 plus eligibility for annual bonus program

Who you are



  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Equivalent work experience may be accepted.
  • Proficiency equivalent to at least 5+ years of information systems experience. Preferred experience in the life insurance domain.
  • Strong technical background, with knowledge of software development, and/or relevant technical domains.
  • Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions in complex environments.
