Job Title: Pest control/ Mosquito Technician (Licensed) Location: Midlothian, VA- 23112 Shift: 1st Shift: 7:30 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday Duration: 3 Months Pay Rate: $19.50/hr. on w2 without benefits Notes: Candidate must have valid registered technician license required by Virginia Depart of Agriculture Summary: The main function of a pest control specialist is to perform pest treatments and install products to create a pest-free environment. Role & Responsibilities: Conduct inspections to determine the source of pest activity. Operate and maintain service vehicles equipment. Listen to customer needs and offer solutions to pest issues. Identify and alert customers of additional service offerings that will provide value to the customer. Required Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage one's time. Ability to operate a vehicle and possession of a valid driver's license. Ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly. Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 0-2 years experience.
