Data Analyst
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team onsite in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to help drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to uncover insights, identify trends, and support data-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Elicit, prioritize, and document requirements from stakeholders (business, clinical, technical teams) for data and analytics solutions
- User Story Development: Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and functional specifications for the data engineering team
- Data Cleansing: Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Demonstrations: Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to ensure data infrastructure supports analytical needs.
- Data Governance: Support data governance and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback, measure usage and value of data products, and iterate on solutions for ongoing improvement.
Skillsets
Required
- Bachelor's degree in data or computer science, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in a data-driven environment
- Strong understanding of data and analytics concepts, including data warehousing, BI, and reporting
- Experience in requirements gathering and translating business needs into technical specifications
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements and user stories
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and best practices
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and compliance frameworks (healthcare experience preferred)
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare staffing or related healthcare industries
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance requirements in healthcare
- Experience with Tableau, Snowflake, dbt and Fivetran specifically
- Experience with Workato or other iPaaS solutions
