Pay Range: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Summary of Job Function

• Ensures that quality, age-appropriate nursing care is delivered to all patients in his/her nursing unit in accordance with the philosophy, policies, procedures and program plans of the hospital,
• Assists with the development of patient care standards orientation and continuing education,
• Evaluates staff performance in accordance with organizational policies,
• Develops, implements and maintains a unit budget,
• Participates in nursing quality assurance,
• Maintains unit administration, including scheduling and maintenance of supplies and equipment,
• Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care,
• Ensure that unit department division is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations,

Job Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state,
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred,
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years acute nursing experience with one year of nursing department experience,
• Certifications as required by law and or regulation for an area or specialization,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Organizational ability, nurse management and leadership skills,
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in area standards,
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs,

Scheduling Requirements:

• Evening Shift, 3 PM-11 PM, Full-Time
