Strategic Procurement Manager - Emulsions and Resins

As Strategic Procurement Manager - Emulsions and Resins at Pittsburgh Paints, you will manage purchasing and strategic sourcing for $300-$500M of spend focused on Direct raw materials and Indirect goods & services. Your scope will be primarily the US and Canada although you will regularly interact with global counterparts.

You will be part of the team reporting to Director of LATAM Indirect Procurement and work onsite (hybrid with 3 days per week in office) at the corporate office located in our Cranberry Twp, PA office.

Major Responsibilities

• Manage local Procurement team for purchase of Direct raw materials good and services.

• Secure raw materials and pursue annual cost savings objectives in conjunction with PPC technical team.

• Fulfill goods and services in support of country operations in compliance with PPC's global Procurement policies.

• Network with broader Americas Category Managers to leverage spend and workload.

• Maintain/build cohesion with team and operate productively and efficiently.

Requirements

• Master's degree in supply chain, Business Management, or Organizational Leadership required.

• 10+ years' experience relevant to procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain (international, multinational experience preferred)

• Experience supporting team engagement virtually, and stakeholder management (influence, negotiation and conflicts resolutions in procurement)

• Experience leading (whether individual contributor or as manager) resulting in bringing together company functions to operate at accelerated pace as a cohesive unit to accomplish goals while also knowing when to ask for direction or assistance.

• Strong collaboration skills and teamwork orientation.

• Problem Solver with strong empathy skills and commitment to processes, team and the business.
