Pay & Schedule

What You'll Do

As a Licensed Journeyman Electrician in Golden, CO, you'll play a key role in maintaining safe and reliable electrical systems:



  • Install and connect power supply wiring, conduit, and electrical equipment in compliance with NEC standards
  • Troubleshoot and repair control systems, motor starters, automation components, and transformers
  • Maintain and repair electrical distribution systems (277/480V, 120/208V, 120/240V)
  • Diagnose and replace faulty components such as relays, contactors, and switches
  • Service and maintain lighting systems (emergency, exterior, and energy management-controlled)
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment (480V and below)
  • Complete work orders, maintain tools/inventory, and operate a service vehicle



Qualifications



  • Must be at least 21 years old with completion of an approved Apprenticeship Program
  • 5+ years of electrician experience or equivalent technical training
  • Valid Colorado Journeyman Electrician "A" License and a clean driver's license
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, safety manuals, and technical instructions
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
