About Us:

We're building products that don't just use existing tech - we're pushing into new territory with data, AI, and advanced algorithms. To make that possible, we're looking for an Applied Research Engineer who can explore cutting-edge methods and translate them into real, working product features.

You'll run experiments, prototype new approaches, and then work with engineers to bring the best ideas into production. Think of this role as part researcher, part builder.

What You'll Do:



  • Explore and prototype new algorithms, models, or approaches that could improve our product.
  • Run experiments and evaluations to test feasibility and performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers to productionize research prototypes into scalable systems.
  • Stay on top of emerging trends in AI/ML, data systems, or applied science relevant to our space.
  • Contribute to shaping the technical direction of our product with research-driven insights.
  • What We're Looking For
  • Strong background in computer science, data science, or applied ML.
  • Hands-on experience with Python (NumPy, pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, etc.).
  • Ability to design and run experiments, then interpret results.
  • Comfort with databases, data pipelines, and handling large datasets.
  • Interest in both research and shipping code - you like papers, but you love working code more.
  • Bonus: published research or contributions to open-source ML/AI projects.


A Few Things You Might Work On in the First 3-6 Months



  1. Prototype a machine learning model that improves customer outreach effectiveness.
  2. Experiment with data-driven algorithms to identify trends and patterns in customer usage.
  3. Collaborate with backend engineers to turn a research prototype into a production-ready service.


Minimum Qualifications



  • 5 years of ML and software engineering experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred
  • Published research or notable projects a plus
