As a Unarmed Security Guard - Distribution Site in Lacey, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a major logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, interacting with employees and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will play a key part in creating a welcoming and secure environment by responding to incidents and supporting the daily operations of a dynamic distribution facility. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution and logistics location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible presence.
• Assist in controlling access to the location and verifying credentials as required.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
