As a key member of the Surgical Quality Assurance Team, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes. Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician - Complaints Reports To: Design Quality Engineering ManagerLocation: Austin, TX Business Unit Description: Driven by Enovis' desire to create innovative products that help improve quality of life and restore movement to those suffering from degenerative arthritis, Enovis Surgical provides orthopedic surgeons with modern, patient-focused solutions for total joint arthroplasty. Partnerships with key surgeon consultants help provide advanced and proprietary patented solutions, including EMPOWR 3D Knee, the only dual-pivot knee system on the market, and AltiVate Reverse Shoulder, a market-leading system, based on the design principles of the RSP Shoulder, which has demonstrated excellent clinical outcomes at 10 years. Enovis Surgical offers surgeons and their patients a full range of primary and revision implants for hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow reconstructive joint surgeries, in addition to the tools and digital health technology needed in today's changing healthcare environment. Job Title/High Level Position Summary: Investigates and evaluates medical device complaints, assists QA personnel with activities intended to assure compliance with quality system regulations, and to support new product and operations initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Must be willing to work with used, therefore contaminated medical devices. Ensures proper documentation and registration of returned complaint devices. Ability to write effective reports on returned devices. Basic trouble shooting and root cause analysis. Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with internal and external customers (as required). Work closely with and take direction from Quality Engineers to aid in the investigation process of returned devices. Ability to compile data for metrics and create reports/graphs. Must be detail oriented and organized. Assist the Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering team with projects and ensure compliance. Minimum Basic Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School Diploma Minimum 3 years related experience and/or training Background in medical device or other highly regulated industry required; preferred knowledge of ISO 13485 Detail oriented and analytical Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Travel Requirements: <10% Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times. Desired Characteristics: Knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques and inspection equipment preferred "Creating better together".
