Audiology Assistant - St Mary's MOB - Green Bay



This position is full time at 34 hours per week.


Candidate filling this role will go to outreach locations one to two times a month.

Job Summary
At Prevea Health the Audiology Assistant is responsible for maintaining and repairing hearing devices, managing administrative duties, and assisting patients to ensure a seamless and supportive clinic experience. All under guidance and supervision of the Audiologists.

What you will do



  • Provide support to the Audiologists for daily workflows including but not limited to coordinating the pick up of hearing aids, entering proper documentation for consultation, advising the payments due at time of visit, etc.
  • Assist patients with fitting, maintenance, troubleshooting, and orientation/education of hearing aids and other assistive listening devices. Ensure the devices are clean and properly functioning. Pre-program and/or re-program hearing aides.
  • Greet patients and navigate them from library/education space to the exam room.
  • Support the pre-determination process for all hearing devices and appointments
  • Maintain a system for hearing device checks/repairs and completion of orders.
  • Assist with billing concerns and with invoice management.
  • Manage inventory of audiological equipment/supplies and reordering.
  • Work at multiple outreach sites at the supervisors or Audiologists direction


Education Qualifications



  • High School Diploma and/or GED Required

  • Basic knowledge in the use of EMR systems, computer, phone, and office equipment.
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication.


Licenses and Certifications



  • CPR/Basic Life support for Healthcare Providers certification from approved program Required
