Scope of Position This highly motivated individual, as part of the Manufacturing team, will be responsible for leading initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and productivity across the organization. This role focuses on identifying process inefficiencies, implementing Lean and other improvement methodologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position is responsible for supervision of the Continuous Improvement team. This position reports to Director of Operations. This role is onsite and is based in Menomonee Falls, WI. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize key process improvements that align with the organization's strategic objectives and support its continuous improvement initiatives.
- Champion the implementation of Lean principles and practices, including Lean Daily Management, to drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Understand the capabilities and strengths of individual team members and assign them projects that align with their skill sets to ensure optimal performance and development.
- Develop the talents and skills of team members through coaching, mentoring, and training opportunities to improve their capabilities and enhance their contribution to the team and organization.
- Develop and implement process improvement strategies that reduce waste, improve quality, and increase efficiency.
- Develop systems that promote standardization, scalability, and sustainability for business processes.
- Collaborate with department leaders to align improvement initiatives with business goals.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of improvement initiatives using KPIs and dashboards.
- Facilitate cross-functional VSM's to identify process improvement opportunities, leverage team members' expertise, and foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organization to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by [insert title of manager's position] or Company management.
- Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency)
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or operations related field.
- Five (5) years managing lean manufacturing programs utilizing continuous improvement and kaizen techniques.
- Lean experience from a company with a formal lean business system
- Solid lean tool technical skills, project management experience capability
- Working knowledge of multiple departments, including operations, quality, logistics, finance, sales, customer service, engineering, IT and human resources
- Proven track record leading and coaching week-long kaizen teams with an emphasis on execution.
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
- Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including [insert checks], and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Working Conditions: While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will perform the majority of your duties in a manufacturing environment. You will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. You will be required to work in the office at the Menomonee Falls, WI location (Monday - Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager. Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:
