Workers' Compensation Health and Safety Training Specialist

In this role, you will be developing, evaluating, and delivering general and specialized technical health and safety training and educational courses for members of the workers' compensation regulated community and the general public. Work involves preparing modules, customizing educational materials, as well as identifying specific training needs and goals. You will also have the opportunity to answer questions from training participants and stakeholders regarding a wide range of workplace health and safety regulations and related topics. Additional responsibilities include:

• Providing compliance training for Certified Workplace Safety Committees
• Evaluating training sites to ensure suitability of the facility
• Monitoring training programs to determine effectiveness
• Analyzing data to make recommendations to improve training programs and materials

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of the training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Three years of professional experience in planning, developing and conducting health and safety training or education programs, which included the development of lesson plans; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
