Overview

Responsible for facilitating training and learning programs, including but not limited to orientation and onboarding programs for new employees, Professional Development Opportunities, Leadership Assessments, Client Partnering sessions, and Leadership/soft skills training. Assist with organizational and project specific training needs by collaborating with the Learning & Leadership Development team and other business partners in the organization

Location & Travel Details: This is an onsite position at our Fargo, ND office location, with travel (30% - 40%) to other office and project locations located throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

    Facilitate workshops, sessions and programs relating to orientation, professional development, team building, and client partnering on a regular basis, ranging from weekly to daily depending on needs
  • Coordinate series programming, such as monthly professional development sessions including providing feedback on topics, developing sessions and working with subject matter experts to facilitate delivery
  • Collaboratively, with the Instructional Design team and organizational stakeholders, lead the development and design of programs, content and curriculum which may include presentations, checklist, handouts, and other training materials.
  • Ensure continuous updates of all information to keep current as needed
  • Evaluate effectiveness of programming including learning outcomes and employee satisfaction assessments and utilize data to continuously improve and enhance programs
  • Work with Learning & Leadership Development team to organize program/session logistics including but not limited to orientation & training materials, room or space set up, food and beverage, etc.
  • Partner with companywide Subject Matter Experts to coordinate and create learning sessions - research potential topics as needed
  • Maintain records and data of all learning programs, orientation, and development sessions
  • Provide leadership and personality assessment interpretation and coaching utilizing StrengthsFinder, DiSC, and Hogan assessments as needed


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education, training and development, communications, business, or related degree
  • Master's degree or assessment credential/certification or coaching certification preferred
  • Three to five years' experience facilitating, designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating technical and non-technical training course materials, including leadership, functional and soft skills training
  • Experience with and certification in delivery and coaching of Personality/Leadership Assessments (DiSC, Strengths, Korn Ferry, Hogan) certification preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the Company's Zero Injury principles
  • Advanced skills in Windows, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Outlook, Internet and the ability to be trained in various other systems
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Advanced public speaking & facilitation skills including the agility to adjust facilitation techniques, training goals, and programs quickly based on the needs of the participants
  • Must have adaptability to a variety of audiences including high level of professionalism required when working with clients and external stakeholders
  • Able to maintain records and documentation
  • Ability to travel 30-40% of the time as needed

Working Environment:

  • When visiting jobsites, the work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions
  • This work environment may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises
