Description

As a Controls Programmer, you will program, service, install, and perform preventative maintenance on Tridium Niagara building automation systems. This position is responsible for the Southeaster MA, Cape Cod and Rhode Island area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement control system programming tailored to project requirements.
  • Perform installation, system startup, and commissioning to ensure proper functionality and performance.
  • Provide troubleshooting and service support for control systems as needed.
  • Conduct routine system maintenance to optimize reliability and efficiency.
  • Building automation experience with any manufacturer
  • Experience using Tridium Niagara workbench (AX & N4) is preferred
  • Familiarity with 3rd party integrations using BACnet, Modbus, LON
  • Ability to interpret engineered drawings and sequences of operation
  • Understanding of HVAC system operations
  • Mechanical and electrical technical abilities
  • Valid driver's license
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • 2-year technical certification or associate degree



Work Environment:

This position requires the employee to work both inside and outside. The employee may be subject to loud noises and hot and cold temperatures while on work site.

Positions Type and Expected hours of Work:

This is a full-time 40-hour position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Opportunities to work from home on certain projects.

Travel:Daily travel to job sites throughout MA and RI

Physical Demands:



  • Lifting weight up to and over 75 lbs. in both a vertical and horizontal range of motion.
  • Crawl, stoop, stand, reach (push/pull) & bend to perform necessary work.
  • Able to ascend and descend on extension ladders, step ladders and stairs using feet and/or hands and arms.
  • Able to drive a company vehicle and walk around at job sites.
  • Reading, computer input, typing and answering the phone.
  • Clarity of vision at both over 20 feet and under 20 inches.
  • Able to judge depth (distance & space relationships), have a good field of vision, and identify and distinguish colors.
  • Adjustment of eye to bring object into sharp focus.
