Job Summary Salary Range: $120,000.00 to $125,000.00 Per Year

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement activities related to specific projects, product group, ensuring that materials, equipment, and services are selected and acquired on time, within budget, and in accordance with product specifications, and global gSOPs. This role requires close collaboration with Quality, R&D, engineering teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support a successful execution.

CHALLENGES

Supplier Reliability : Ensuring suppliers meet deadlines and quality standards. / Managing risks like delays, shortages, or quality issues.

Coordination with Project Teams : Aligning procurement activities with project milestones./ Handling last-minute changes in project scope or specifications.

Cost Control : Negotiating favorable terms without compromising quality. / Managing price fluctuations and unexpected costs.

Compliance and Documentation :Ensuring all purchases comply with internal policies and external regulations.

Global Sourcing : Dealing with international suppliers / Managing lead times and geopolitical risks.

Stakeholder Communication :Keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned.
Managing expectations and resolving conflicts. Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with project timelines, budgets, and plant constraint.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and quality.
  • Manage procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor supplier performance, and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Quality to understand product requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Contract Negotiation, including Statement of Work.
  • Established and maintains purchasing practices and policies to ensure honest, fair and ethical relationships with our vendors. Performs other duties as required.

All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project-based procurement or purchasing management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of contract law and international
  • Good knowledge of SAP ERP.
  • Prefer a background in the Medical industry, or experience in a regulated environment.
  • Must have the ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time and have the ability to obtain a valid passport.
  • Be a self-starter and possess the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Results oriented and demonstrates a high level of integrity.
  • Strong stakeholder/customer management focus.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is an advantage.
