OverviewWe are seeking a talented Software Engineer II to contribute to the development of Microsoft's rapidly growing commercial platform. As part of the Commerce Platform & Experiences team, you will help build and operate world-class commerce experiences for customers and partners, working on highly strategic and industry-relevant projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this role, you will tackle complex engineering challenges, writing high-quality code to build robust, reliable, and highly distributed software systems using the latest technologies. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside highly talented engineers to develop systems that support all Microsoft businesses & 3rd party partners to go to market across all channels (consumer, enterprise, direct, partner) and in all clouds. You'll be empowered to envision, design, code, validate, and deploy key features with substantial customer impact, collaborating with teams across the company to gain broad exposure and diverse technical experience. ResponsibilitiesWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code to support various software features and data-related workflows.Work closely with senior engineers to develop and improve product features.Participate in testing and validating new features, including assisting with experiments and analyzing results.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research, product, and partner engineering groups.Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), working on call tomonitorsystem/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, alerting stakeholders about status and initiates actions to restore system/product/service for simple and complex problems whenappropriate.
