Emergency Medicine Physician

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)is adding an Emergency Medicine Physician to the group atNYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. Opportunity Details:

• Conduct patient assessments, including history, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals of all ages presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Deliver comprehensive, high-quality patient care in alignment with departmental standards.
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other hospital clinical services to ensure coordinated care.
• Complete all required documentation and administrative responsibilities in a timely manner.
• Provide clinical teaching, supervision, and mentorship to residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills through CME participation and regular departmental educational activities.

• Board Certification or Eligibility inEmergency Medicine
• NYS Medical License
• Three years of full-time licensed experience as an Emergency Medicine/PEM physician,preferred

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary:$272,678* (board eligible); $278,063* (board certified)based on a 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $395,465** (board eligible) and $401,389** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.

• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):

  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.

• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
