Overview The Material QC Inspector will be part of an inspection team that performs duties for inspecting line pipe, fittings, valves, or related components as it relates to the pipeline industry in a manufacturing environment or field environment. Inspectors will be responsible for performing visual inspection and taking dimensional inspection readings as well as recording them daily. Inspections by the inspector may be performed on bare or coated material. Inspector must be able to inspect pipe on OD and ID surface. Material QC Inspector will need to be able to comprehend API, ASME, and ANSI Specifications, Client Specifications, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Manufacturing Procedure Specifications and be able to apply them to the material or product being inspected. Wage Data Per State Requirements The pay range for this position is $55/hr - $66/hr. The starting pay will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
