About the Role: As the Maintenance Scheduler, you'll play a key role in ensuring mission continuity by assisting with planning, scheduling, flying mission tracking, and other mission support activities as designated by the squadron Director of Operations. This position offers an incredible opportunity to work alongside military and civilian personnel, managing operational resources while guiding and mentoring a talented team.

Primary Responsibilities as Maintenance Scheduler

  • Maintenance Scheduler: Perform Maintenance Scheduler responsibilities per Air Force Instruction and applicable Technical Orders for affected Ground Control Stations to include Time Compliance Technical Orders, and One Time Inspections.
  • Mission Coordination: Assist Military Operational Schedulers with aircrew training and aircraft sorties, unit flying hours, and aviation changes.
  • Liaison Role: Collaborate with military and civilian personnel, ensuring aircrew and aircraft can operate in determined Area of Responsibility.
  • Future Planning: Assist squadron leadership in planning flying schedules while ensuring aircrew training priorities, currencies, and qualifications.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 5+ Years of experience in Air Force Maintenance scheduling, aviation operations and aviation resource management. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Must have extensive experience with ARMS .(Aviation Resource Management System ).
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Must have a current Secret security clearance and have the ability to obtain a Top Secret SCI security clearance after hiring.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications and Integrated Maintenance Design System.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong familiarity with Cannon AFB flight operations and Maintenance scheduling.
  • Current Top Secret SCI security clearance.
