Counter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination Analyst
Contingent upon prime contractor approval
Purpose:
- Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a SeniorCounter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination Analystin Huntsville, AL.
- In this role you will get to provide MDA systems engineering and analysis expertise to support the development of new missile defense capabilities to identify lethal objects.
Job Description:
- Work with an integration of a multi-discipline, multi-source, industry team.
- Provide analysis, management, and general technical and scientific support for services and products to the MDA Counter-Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate.
- Develop and formulate options for improving the Missile Defense System's discrimination and electronic protection capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Must have a MS/MA degree with at least 12+ years experience or a BS/BA with atleast 20+ years of experience is acceptable.
- Must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SCI access.
- Must have experience in developing and reviewing engineering requirements and CONOPS.
- Must have experience in conducing multi-discipline and multi-functional technical analysis as well as development of trade studies, risk analysis, and mitigation efforts.
- Must have knowledge of missile defense fundamentals.
- Must have experience in technical system performance assessments, contingencies, and implementation planning.
Desired Qualifications:
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, preferred.
Security Requirements:
- Must have an Active DoD Secret Security clearance, and the ability to maintain clearance
Travel Requirements:
- Minimal Travel; 10% or less
- If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
- Able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
- Communicating with others to exchange information
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
