Training & Development / Operations

This is an 8-month, full-time (40 hours/week), on-site W-2 contract role located in Cincinnati, OH.


Summary

The Administrative Assistant II provides operational and administrative support for technical training, progression, and continuing education programs. This role ensures smooth coordination of training activities, manages LMS administration, and supports onboarding efforts while also facilitating logistics for special events. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with trainers, stakeholders, and new employees to ensure an efficient and professional training environment.


Our Ideal Candidate


  • 5+ years of administrative support experience, preferably within training or technical programs



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)



  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities



  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset



  • Skilled in LMS administration (Cornerstone or similar preferred)



  • Familiarity with databases, reporting, and SharePoint a plus



  • Able to manage logistics for both training events and large-scale external events



  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams



Job Description

In this role, you will serve as the primary administrative support for training operations, ensuring that technical training and continuing education programs run smoothly and efficiently. You'll partner with trainers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to coordinate logistics, manage the LMS, and provide reporting and communications.

This includes:




  • Serving as LMS administrator: creating, updating, and organizing training courses; managing enrollments and waitlists; and providing technical support



  • Coordinating logistics for training sessions, including scheduling instructors, classes, facilities, meals, lodging, and vendor support



  • Developing and sending training communications, generating reports on participation, and tracking completion rates



  • Supporting onboarding for new hires by scheduling training, providing PPE and tools, and ensuring mandatory requirements are completed



  • Coordinating logistics for local and international linemen rodeos, including event planning, communications, volunteer coordination, and on-site support



Education and Experience


  • 5+ years of administrative or operations support experience



  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, or related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience)



  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone or equivalent) strongly desired



  • Experience with databases and SharePoint a plus



Additional Requirements


  • This is an on-site role based in Cincinnati, OH



  • Standard schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm



  • Must be able to work a consistent 40-hour week



The pay for this W-2 contract role ranges from [$21.50 - $22.98] per hour.

This position may be eligible for benefits such as health insurance, PTO, and 401(k), depending on tenure and hours worked.
