Seasonal Agronomy Scale Operator Range: $16-$18/hour PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Responsible for operating the scale to weigh incoming and outgoing agricultural products, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and performing various administrative tasks to support the agronomy department. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Operates the scale to weigh trucks and agricultural products accurately Record and maintain weight data in the system Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures during weighing process OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel. May be required to cross-train and substitute for other administrative positions. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Work flexible hours through the harvest season which runs approximately mid-September to mid-November. Hours dependent on the weather and length of season. Weekends hours required. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in agriculture or related field is a plus. Demonstrate essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Work is conducted mainly in a typical office environment, with slight exposure to other warehousing or storage facilities with generally satisfactory conditions, sometimes in a noisy, open area while interacting with team members and serving customer's needs.
