Position Summary
JLL is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. This role is designed for recent graduates or professionals who are interested in a career blending business analysis and financial responsibilities within the commercial real estate and data center industry. You will support integrated data modeling, financial operations, analytical reporting, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple business lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated data models combining information from multiple service lines to support business and account delivery.
  • Perform exploratory and financial data analysis to identify trends, drive performance improvement, and deliver actionable business insights.
  • Analyze performance data for forecasting and trending, including monthly variance analysis versus budget to determine key drivers and the nature of variances.
  • Prepare, support, and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Assist with accurate financial recordkeeping, account reconciliations, and participate in month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Create and present insightful data visualizations and presentations for clients and management.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives within finance and across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, validate, and analyze business and financial data.
  • Ensure data quality by supporting effective data collection, cleaning, validation, and remediation activities with data stewards and stakeholders.
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support and respond to requests from leadership and service line leads.
  • Deliver training on analytical tools and processes to colleagues and clients when needed.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience in business analysis, finance, or accounting.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other MS Office applications.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI or Tableau), database querying (SQL), and ETL tools (Power Query or Alteryx) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret, visualize, and communicate complex data and financial information clearly.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, geographically dispersed team.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and develop new skills related to analytics and finance.
  • Preferred: Understanding of financial modeling, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), statistical analysis, and analytics programming languages (R, Python).

Estimated compensation for this position:

70,720.00 - 70,720.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
