Join our team as an HR Talent Specialist! In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide HR support to our Associate Relations team and may provide support to our Talent Acquisition processes. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with other HR partners and support business leaders across the organization.
What You'll Do As an HR Talent Specialist, you will:
Utilize the employee relations software tool to document investigations. Collaborate with Legal defense counsel, Director of Employment and Employee relations to identify trends using the metrics provided. Review initial complaints, conduct investigations, recommends corrective action and provides summary reports as appropriate. Coach and guide managers in assessing the need for and developing associate-related communications, including corrective action documentation. Develop and maintain a strong relationship with all candidates to keep them engaged through the hiring process and ensure the achievement of staffing goals. Determine qualified candidates by reviewing resumes for experience and knowledge, verifying references, conducting initial interviews, and performing background checks. Provide management and associates with information and interpretation of human resources policies, rules, and procedures.
In this role, you may also:
Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring manger and/or interview panel. Communicate important employment information to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers and within the guidelines of Human Resources policies. Determine qualified candidates by reviewing resumes for experience and knowledge, verifying references, conducting initial interviews, and performing background checks.
What it Takes
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 2 years related work experience. Solid understanding of fair employment practices and regulations. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Excellent organizational, collaboration, and follow-up skills. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and discretion with regard to confidential information. Strong relationship building and relationship management skills. Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Strong personal standards of excellence, ethics, and integrity; ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
