Airgas is Hiring for a Floater Branch Manager in Peru, IL! *We are looking for you!* Compensation: 70K-80K plus bonus Mileage reimbursement 50%-70% travel; minimal to no overnights Float between the following branch locations: Janesville, WI; Madison, WI; Rock Falls, IL; Rockford, IL; West Chicago, IL; Peru, IL 4+ years of experience of management Recruiter: Gaby Bogenschutz / gaby.bogenschutz@airliquide.com/ (920) 472-3495 CALL/TEXT The Floating Assistant Branch Manager assists with the day to day responsibility for the critical issues of branch operation and profitability, including sales, sales growth, budgeting, gross margins, operating expenses, safety, customer service, inventory, equipment, building and vehicles, community relations, accounts receivable and resolution of personnel issues. This position will operate between multiple branch locations to facilitate gaps in day-to-day operations oversight (i.e. vacations, training, etc.). Assists with managing the day-to-day operations the retail store including compliance, retail sales, warehousing and distribution. Coordinates sales promotional activities, merchandising and displays. Collaborates with outside sales to ensure order accuracy and properly scheduled customer deliveries. Manages branch inventory, daily hard goods inventory cycle counts and maintain showroom and warehouse appearance. Monitors SAP reports daily such as open order/delivery reports, billing and delivery block reports and open Purchase Order (PO) reports. Responsible for Daily Cash Reconciliation (DCR). Ensures daily completion and that all errors are addressed and bank deposits are initiated. Leader/manager of annual/bi-annual physical hard goods inventories. Work with corporate accounts receivable to manage branch credits and collections. Other duties as assigned. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales and/or distribution of gases and welding supplies or similar industrial products and two (2) years of prior demonstrated management or leadership experience.
