Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Oldsmar, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Work under a microscope for long periods for inspection/solder repair.
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings.
  • Uses a microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually aligns parts before soldering, and performs post-reflow inspection and touch-up.
  • Identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts/leads, tombstoned and/or billboarded components, and any out-of-solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation.
  • Read instructions and identify standard SMT components.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Hours: 4/10-2nd Shift.

Length: Temp (12 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in printed circuit boards, surface mount, and fine pitch soldering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working to IPC-610 and IPC J-STD-001 requirements.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Electronics circuit card troubleshooting and testing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in using a Microscope to assemble miniature parts into assemblies.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Computer Operations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Blueprint Reading.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with visual acuity in working with microscopes.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • IPC certified.
  • Experience working in a LEAN Manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use several Windows-based programs as part of your daily routine.
  • Good leadership, mentoring, and training aptitude
  • Able to read and write English.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
