Job Description

The College of Health Sciences (CHS) - seeks applications for a Senior Business Support Specialist position. This position provides fiscal support at the college/school/division level for the College of Health Sciences as part of the Central Office of Administrative Operations. The primary function of this position is to assist with management of fiscal operations focusing on communication and oversight of financial business initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the central work queues and complete requested work in accordance with our office service deadlines
  • One-Card reconciliation and out of pocket reimbursements through T&E
  • Purchase supplies and equipment through Show-Me-Shop
  • Create PO and non-PO requisitions
  • Process participant payments for various studies
  • Contract review and submission
  • Assist departments with conference travel; book flights, hotels, car rentals, on-ground transportation, general conference registration, etc.
  • Preparation of CRRs
  • Securing parking permits
  • Food orders for meetings
  • Field general questions and provide insight into processes, etc.
  • Works with vendors on recurring payments and contract updates
  • Custodian of Student Organization One-Card
  • Other duties as assigned
Shift

Monday - Friday
8:00am - 5:00pm

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PeopleSoft modules
  • High degree of organization and solid attention to detail
  • Experience with work queues in team-based environment
  • Problem-solving skills
Anticipated Hiring Range

Hiring Salary Range: $18.87 - $34.87 per hour
GGS Grade: 8
