Position: General Laborer Shift: Days (6:00am - 4:30pm, plus OT as required) Location: Winchester, KY Sign On Bonuses for all hourly Manufacturing Personnel! JOB SUMMARY: The General Laborer will perform cleaning of overhead crane beams and runways within an industrial manufacturing environment. Duties are not limited to runway beams as other assigned tasks to maintain the shop will be required. JOB DUTIES: General labor in a warehouse environment. Assist in daily duties within a weld manufacturing or fabricating environment. Assist with shop cleanup and other daily tasks. Able to read a tape measure (required). Overhead crane experience is a plus. JOB REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Required and able to operate power tools such as grinders and wire wheels. Familiar with forklift operation is a plus but not required. Previous experience working in an industrial environment. Overhead Crane experience is a plus but not required. Rigging experience is a plus but not required. Able to follow clear instructions. Able to work safely and in compliance with all safety requirements. PHYSICAL & WORKING REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds with assistance from overhead cranes or coworkers. Twist, reach, and bend frequently. Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine). Possess depth perception and peripheral vision. Possess the ability to hear. Possess the ability to ascend and descend a ladder occasionally. Subject to standing on hard surfaces up to 12 hours per day. Exposure to hot and cold conditions, noise, chemicals, heavy equipment and machinery.
