Assembly Operator - Conroe, TX

We have an opportunity for an Assembly Operator to join our Conroe, TX team. You will assemble all components per bill of material, work instructions, and company process systems.

You will:

  • Assemble all components per bill of material, work instructions, and company process following procedures for product assembly/fabrication, equipment operation, and safety requirements as documented in the company's quality system.
  • Test products, equipment, and materials per the production department and company's quality system procedures.
  • Work alongside team members while striving for the daily production goals.
  • Understand quality procedures and where they are located.
  • Follow all safety rules and guidelines.
  • Understand, follow, and actively participate in lean initiatives (hr x hr documenting, line standard work, MDI, 5s).
  • Show interest in line improvement, identify concerns, and actively give suggestions.
  • Inspect finished products and properly package for quality and adherence to customer specifications.

Position Hours/Shift:

  • 1st shift hours Monday through Thursday from 5am - 3:30pm
  • Must be open to working overtime if needed on Friday

Environment:

  • Climate controlled manufacturing and warehouse facilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand and work 10 hours a day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Be able to set up and operate basic, manual metal fabrication machines.
  • Be able to utilize calibrated precision measuring instruments.
  • Be able to read and interpret blueprints.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated hourly base pay rate of $16.00 per hour. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
