- Resolve a broad range of manufacturing technical problems of varying scope and complexity
- Use good judgement and planning to effectively complete technical duties
- Continuously develop and improve approaches to manufacturing assignments and processes
- Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements
- Collaborate with process engineering, product engineers, new product introduction team, and production teams to resolve area issues and inefficiencies
- Communicate process and equipment issues by addressing the proper escalation
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing process equipment and tooling
- Perform functional and performance testing on process equipment and tooling
Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in electronic manufacturing, new product introduction, or closely related fields
- High School Diploma or GED (minimum), Trade or technical training preferred
- Knowledge of general data collection techniques and experience with data logging software
- Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions and systems to establish and maintain ESD safe areas
- Experience using multimeters and other diagnostic tools to evaluate and resolve assembly part and equipment issues
- Excellent process and trouble-shooting skills
- Ability to develop, write, and follow detailed work instructions (process procedures)
- Flexibility and tolerance of ambiguity and change
- Teamwork skills and ability to work in cross-functional team environments
- Familiarity with micro-electronic components, schematics, and assembly drawings/techniques, understanding and use of Ohms Law
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Etc.)
