About the Team:

We are seeking a talented and driven AI Solutions Lead to join our Sales Innovation & Technology team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative AI and machine learning solutions, in particular within Salesforce, Tableau, and Google Gemini, and Microsoft (e.g. Excel) environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI to enhance customer and seller experiences, optimize and automate business processes, and drive measurable productivity gains. This is a hands-on role requiring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with business leaders and end-users to understand strategic objectives and translate them into a roadmap of AI-driven solutions.

* Design, configure, and implement Salesforce AI capabilities, including Einstein Prediction Builder, Activity Capture, Next Best Action, and Generative AI features.

* Develop custom AI models and integrations, leveraging Salesforce's data and Apex/LWC, to address unique business challenges.

* Manage data pipelines and ensure data quality for training and deployment of AI models, often using Salesforce Data Cloud.

* Conduct thorough testing, performance tuning, and monitoring of AI solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.

* Document technical designs, configurations, and processes to support maintenance and future development.

* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Salesforce AI, machine learning, and data science to proactively recommend new solutions.

* Provide expert guidance and training to end-users and other administrators on the use and benefits of AI features.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem with a strong focus on platform development and configuration. Deep knowledge of CPQ and Tableau.

* Proven experience designing and implementing solutions with Salesforce Einstein products or other AI/ML tools.

* Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL.

* Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and data integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Data Loader).

* Strong understanding of machine learning principles, data modeling, and predictive analytics.

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

* Preferred Certifications: Salesforce AI Associate, Data Cloud Consultant, or Platform Developer I/II.

* Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Python for data analysis and external model integration. Capable of leading Excel modeling automation.

The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in NY/NJ. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than NY/NJ, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $135,000 to $180,000.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
