Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $280,000-$369,000. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. See Professorial Series (Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, In Residence, Ladder Rank) and Professor of Teaching Series - Health Sciences Compensation Plan. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position description

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology invites applications for a faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor or above, depending upon the candidate's qualification and will be in the Health Sciences Clinical Series (non-tenure track) in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. The Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology provides the full spectrum of Women's Reproductive Health Care including low-risk obstetrics, ambulatory gynecology, and benign gynecologic surgery, as well as supervise residents and medical students in the only academic medical school in Orange County, California.

The position will be responsible for providing a full spectrum of obstetrical and gynecologic care at UCI faculty practice, GYN inpatient care, as well as some dedicated time supervising resident continuity clinics at UCI's Federally Qualified Health Centers. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to the supervision and teaching of all levels of trainees and scholarly activities.

Candidates must possess an MD or equivalent, be American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology eligible or certified, and a California medical license (at the time of hire). Candidates should also have excellent clinical skills, medical knowledge, interest in teaching, and scholarly accomplishments, as well as possess a strong interest in serving the diverse populations in our community. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Positions are dependent upon funding.
