Senior Financial Analyst - JLL

What this job involves:

Join JLL as a Senior Financial Analyst and become a critical business partner driving financial excellence for one of our premier client accounts. In this role, you'll be the financial expert who ensures accurate cost reporting and budgeting while serving as a trusted advisor to Account Leadership, Site Leadership, and Client Personnel. You'll analyze cost trends, identify variances, and provide strategic insights that directly impact business decisions.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, develop sophisticated financial models, and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and accuracy in financial operations. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Collaborate with site teams and Finance personnel to develop comprehensive forecasts and budgets across all cost categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports, creating compelling presentations, charts, and analytical documents for both internal stakeholders and client leadership
  • Execute day-to-day reporting and forecasting activities, maintaining accuracy in headcount tracking and associated labor costs while ensuring proper client cost allocation
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis for monthly budget performance, providing clear explanations and actionable insights to leadership teams
  • Lead annual budget planning preparation and development processes, working cross-functionally to ensure comprehensive and accurate financial planning
  • Manage data integrity initiatives and implement process re-engineering opportunities to streamline reporting while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy
  • Serve as primary advisor on labor cost matters, partnering with sites and Finance teams to ensure all cost changes are properly documented and client-approved

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant financial analysis experience, preferably in corporate or client-facing environments
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PeopleSoft systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated presentation capabilities to internal and external stakeholders
  • Solid accounting fundamentals and experience with budget development and variance analysis
  • Proven ability to manage conflict resolution and develop creative solutions to complex client issues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA certification and/or MBA degree
  • Experience with JD Edwards E1 General Ledger system
  • Background in commercial real estate or facilities management financial analysis
  • Experience with financial reporting automation and process improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of labor cost management and workforce analytics
  • Client services experience with demonstrated commitment to service excellence
  • Experience working in diverse, collaborative team environments with multiple stakeholders

Estimated total compensation for this position:

80,000.00 - 100,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
