Brown University Health is seeking a skilled Optimization Specialist to maximize the efficiency of our business operations. The Optimization Specialist will be responsible for analyzing current business practices, designing feasible operational improvements, and overseeing the implementation of these enhancements. The ideal candidate should have a background in business, finance, or a related field, strong analytical skills, and a keen eye for identifying opportunities for improvement.

The role of an Optimization Specialist involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.

Responsibilities

Analyze current business practices and procedures to identify areas of improvement

Develop and propose strategies to enhance operational efficiency

Oversee the implementation of optimization strategies

Collaborate with various departments to ensure optimization strategies align with business goals

Monitor the performance of implemented strategies and make necessary adjustments

Prepare reports on optimization efforts and their outcomes Stay up to date with current market trends and advancements in optimization tools and strategies

Skills and Qualifications

- Proven experience as an Optimization Specialist or similar role.
- Proficiency in data analytics and process management.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- A knack for collaboration and strong communication skills.
- 2+ years' experience with EPIC

- Proficiency with optimization tools and software

- Understanding of business operations and processes

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies

The role may require some travel for meetings, and the work environment is typically office-based with options for remote work. 1
