Summary:

The Program Coordinator provides daily operational coordination for the patient-level data collection processes which support the Trauma Quality Programs (TQP), including customer support, technical supervision and problem diagnosis, and other front-line support. In addition, the Coordinator supports the distribution of standardized datasets, from application through fulfillment, as well as other associated duties in support of the Data and Report Operations team.

This exempt position will report to the Manager of Data Operations in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000 (commensurate with related experience).

Responsibilities:



  • Coordinates all aspects of the data collection process, including website updates, written communication, tracking and follow up, data quality monitoring, training material development, technical troubleshooting, and updates to standard operating procedure documentation.

  • Provides customer support, either through conventional means or by leveraging AI-supported tools, for participating hospitals on all aspects of the program and maintains a database on customer support issues and FAQs.

  • Coordinates the dataset request and fulfillment process for the TQP PUF and custom datasets. Contribute to the management of data collection surveys for custom research projects.

  • Conducts analyses in support of data quality monitoring, hospital reporting, and TQIP and Annual Call for Data benchmark reports.

  • Coordinates TQIP, TQP Participant Hub, and Data Center website content and messaging on data related activities.



Required Education and/or Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required.

  • At least 2+ years of similar customer support experience is preferred. Data collection and/or healthcare registry experience is a plus.

  • Must be detail oriented and thrive in a customer facing role.

  • Some experience leveraging AI for customer service work would be a plus.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities are required.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills are essential.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
