POSITION SUMMARY:

ACE is looking for a detail-oriented, creative, and collaborative communicator to play a key role in coordinating communications for higher education. This role supports the execution of ACE's communications strategy comprising email marketing, events, social media campaigns, reporting on data and industry trends, and media relations. The Marketing and Communications Associate reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications and is responsible for scheduling and facilitating the production, distribution, and fulfillment of ACE's external publications, both print and digital. This role schedules project planning meetings, creates and maintains project schedules and assists with marketing and dissemination planning. This role also helps format, schedule, and send all of ACE's email communications.

Essential Job Duties or Tasks:



  • Schedules kick off meetings for all external-facing projects and marketing campaigns
  • Co-leads weekly production meetings alongside representatives from marketing, digital strategy, and public affairs
  • Creates, updates, and maintains schedules and marketing plans for all projects and events in production and keeps members of the team updated on the status of all current production projects on Trello.
  • Schedules and sends all of ACE's emails and newsletters (ATW, HENA, P2P). Helps with email formatting and content review.
  • Helps the Associate Director of Marketing manage subscriber lists, the CRM database, HubSpot data for quarterly reports, and imagery.
  • Organizes and maintains all documents and files in the correct folders on the proper platforms.
  • Serves as customer liaison by helping colleagues order merchandise by obtaining print information, deadlines, and proof approval as necessary.
  • Performs other administrative and office tasks for the Communications division including taking and disseminating meeting notes from department and check-in meetings, ordering office supplies, scheduling internal meetings and external meeting registrations, maintaining subscriptions, submitting invoices and contracts, etc.



Education/Experience/Specialized Knowledge and Competency Requirements:



  • A college degree is required (Bachelor's preferred; Associate's considered). Candidates should have 1-4 years of related experience, including internships or comparable hands-on roles.
  • Highly proficientin using a variety of software programs, including Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with HubSpot or similar software is a plus.
  • Highly skilled in project management software, with the ability to adapt to new platforms as necessary. Experience with Trello is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and ability to balance multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL EFFORT:

This is an onsite position, with four days per week in the office and one telework day available in coordination with the team. 35 hours a week.



TARGETED SALARY RANGE:

$53,330.00 - $66,663.00
