Job Title: Data Center Technician Workplace Type: On-site Location: Round Rock, TX Start Date: September 22, 2025 Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6 days/week (with potential for 7-day weeks), through November About the Role TEKsystems is supporting a major Data Center buildout project in Round Rock, Texas, in partnership with one of its largest telecommunications clients. We're hiring Fiber Technicians to assist with pulling, labeling, and testing fiber as part of a new data center construction. This is a fast-paced, high-impact opportunity for professionals with strong cabling experience. Primary Responsibilities * Pull and install Fiber and Cat6 cable (including riser work in hospital settings) * Terminate Cat6 cable quickly and safely * Install wall-mounted and overhead racks/trays with attention to neat cable management * Label and test fiber optic installations * Support rack and stack activities as needed Required Skills * Fiber installation and termination * Fiber optic testing * Structured cabling (Cat6) * Experience in data center environments Preferred Skills * Rack and stack experience * Strong work ethic and reliability * Commitment to project timelines and team collaboration Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
