About This Role

The K-State Sorghum Breeding program is performing molecular breeding research on sorghum for a variety of traits. A postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for conducting genomic and phenotypic analysis and developing and improving genomic-assisted breeding methodology.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • PhD in Breeding, Genomics, Genetics, or related field.
    The degree requirement is necessary to ensure candidates possess the specialized knowledge, skills and abilities that can only be attained through a formal educational program at this level.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with field research


Additional Role Information:



  • Travel in-state will be required, with possible international travel
